Press Release of 2025 Colombo Motor Show

The 2025 Colombo MOTOR SHOW was held from November 21st to 23rd at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Organized by Asia Exhibition and Conventions (Pvt) Ltd for 19 consecutive years, it is the largest international exhibition for automobiles and auto parts in Sri Lanka.

The exhibition welcomed 138 exhibitors, set up over 200 trade booths, and covered a total exhibition area of 20,000 square meters. It attracted a footfall of 80,000 visitors, maintaining high visitor engagement throughout the three-day event, and drew crowds including automotive enthusiasts, potential consumers, and industry practitioners.

AIMA Telesonic Mobility showcased its flagship models such as Maverick, Mana, Liberty, JoyBean, and U1 at the exhibition. With eye-catching design, a comprehensive after-sales service system, and ultra-high cost-effectiveness, the models won unanimous praise from visitors, creating a lively on-site interaction atmosphere. Yureni Noshika, a renowned Sri Lankan artist, made a special appearance to support the brand. Additionally, one lucky winner was selected from more than 5,000 prospective AIMA customers to receive a free Breezy model, pushing the on-site atmosphere to a climax. Notably, during the exhibition, content related to AIMA Telesonic Mobility garnered over 500,000 cumulative views on local social media platforms, and the brand’s booth received more than 1,000 user intention forms for car purchases, marking a significant rise in brand influence and market recognition.

The joint participation of AIMA and Telesonic Mobility in the exhibition has injected strong impetus into Sri Lanka’s green energy transition. Taking this exhibition as an opportunity, the two parties effectively raised local consumers’ awareness and acceptance of electric two-wheelers through the display of a diverse range of new energy models and immersive experiences, supporting the implementation of the “Clean Sri Lanka” initiative. Meanwhile, relying on the cooperation bridge built by the exhibition, the two parties reached multiple cooperation intentions with local distributors and financial institutions, helping to improve Sri Lanka’s new energy industry ecosystem and build a more complete sales and after-sales network for electric two-wheelers. In addition, the cooperation has further driven the development of upstream and downstream industries such as auto finance, maintenance, and parts manufacturing in the region, promoting the comprehensive upgrading of Sri Lanka’s electric mobility industry chain.

AIMA Electric Vehicle has been exported to over 70 countries and developed 11 production bases worldwide.  As of March 31, 2025, the total sales volume of AIMA electric vehicles has reached 90 million, and it has been certified as the “Leading Global Electric Two-Wheeler Brand(In Terms of Sales Volume)” by Frost & Sullivan, a global authoritative enterprise growth consulting company. As a pioneer in the industry, Aima shows the strength of leading brand of two-wheeled electric vehicles on a global scale.

Going forward, AIMA and Telesonic Mobility will continue to deepen their cooperation, further expand their market share in Sri Lanka, provide local consumers with more comprehensive electric two-wheeler mobility solutions, and contribute to the construction of Sri Lanka’s green transportation system with practical actions.
